The British High Commissioner to Uganda, HE Kate Airey, and the UK Defence Attaché to Uganda paid a visit to the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to extend their congratulations on his appointment as the CDF of the UPDF.
According to the CDF’s office, during the meeting, the two officials also presented a congratulatory letter from the British Chief of the Defence Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin KCB, ADC.
The message further noted that the Ugandan General who trained from UK’s Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst reaffirmed to them his desire to enhance the traditional warm relations between the UPDF and the British Armed Forces.
